Forge Pond is a nice lake to visit. Forge Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through November this area sees the most rain while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Forge Pond is a perfect place to camp, Forge Pond Campground is a perfect place, and why not go to nearby Cedar Swamp River while you're here at Forge Pond.

This is a glorious area for people who like lakes. Assonet River Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; there's some interesting stuff to observe at Forge Pond Dam next to Forge Pond.

coming back time and again. While you're here at Forge Pond you will meet lots of people from close by Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and you can stay the night at Westport Camping Grounds. For the duration of the months of summer
highs here at Forge Pond get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Forge Pond tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Fall River is a great site to spend a night or two, and nothing beats kicking back at Pierce Beach.
