Many people like to go to Forge Pond. At Forge Pond through the summertime highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Forge Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Blue Hills, and getting to Cedar Swamp River from Forge Pond is uncomplicated. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Forge Pond

| | is great! On a gorgeous day you can check out Pierce Beach in close proximity to Forge Pond, and a good close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Raynham. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Assonet River Reservoir in the vicinity of Forge Pond is a wonderful spot to go to; you can stay the night at Boston / Cape Cod KOA. An afternoon playing golf at Poquoy Brook Golf Club is always a diversion, and Forge Pond Campground is a magnificent campground | |

 | 19 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
