Ford Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Ford Pond, you could also stop by nearby Wauban Pond; you can go for a hike on the Spring Trail. Summertime at Ford Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. There's so much to do here at Ford Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Country Aire Campgrounds is a good place for that, and enjoy a round of golf at Edge Hill Golf Course. Skiing at Berkshire East is one of those things you just must do; a delightful nearby hotel
is Greenfield Super 8 Motel. Bug Hill can be observed from Ford Pond; you can stay the night at Peppermint Park Camping Resort. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. You can never
get enough of the great skiing at Blandford.
Paddling on Chickley River is so much fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ford Pond; Busby Trail is a fine local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Bear Swamp are fun to stop by, and pleasant hiking is available along the Dunbar Brook Trail.
