     If you came for an overnight stay Canoe River Campground is a delightful spot to camp, and needless to say, this is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes, Briggs Pond is a lake close at hand. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Boston Brockton, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Ames Long Pond is just a very short distance away. Summertime highs at Flyaway Pond typically tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to  
   the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Flyaway Pond sink into the 10's.
Flyaway Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Charles River.
 
               Why not camp at Canoe River Campground if you're here at Flyaway Pond, and golf can be played at Easton Country Club.
You get a wonderful sight of Rattlesnake Hill from Flyaway Pond; Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very brilliant place to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Whitman Brook, and Shovelshop Pond Dam is not far at all from Flyaway Pond. But wait, there's more to do near Flyaway Pond. If you need a location to stay Quality Inn Brockton is a good choice; why not head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet.
