Nearby The Basin is a good place to go if you're at Flax Pond, and if you want to hit the beach, Eustis Beach is close at hand. During your visit to Flax Pond you'll meet some people from Barnstable Town for sure. Lakes are great; Clay Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Flax Pond. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Flax Pond, so little time.

of Flax Pond; camping is available at Bay View Campgrounds.
Summertime at Flax Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter
are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Flax Pond drop into the 10's. The high level of precipitation makes Flax Pond a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls through November, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
