What a nice lake Flax Pond is. Yarmouth Campgrounds is a great campground here, and the panoramas at Cape Cod National Seashore will blow your mind. Flax Pond gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls all through November; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are good spots to discover along the Beach Forest Trail, and if you're here why not take a look at Horseshoe Shoal.

This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some cheerful people from Barnstable Town here; Bay View Street Beach is relatively
close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Going for a hike on the Great Island Trail is always a fine adventure, and you can stay the night at Bass River Trailer Park. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bass Creek, and a lake close
by is Dennis Pond.
At Flax Pond you can distinguish Cobbs Hill; a brilliant close by hotel is Radisson Hotel Hyannis. Budget Host Hyannis Motel is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and if you want to hit the beach, Lewis Bay Beach is in the vicinity.
