Here at Flax Pond you'll probably meet some people from Barnstable Town; of course, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Trout Pond is a lake close by. At Flax Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Camplands International is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Harney Paul Ashumet Valley Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time, and beaches are great and Sunrise Beach is no
exception. Flax Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
