If you haven’t been to Cape Cod National Seashore, you must schedule some time for it if you're here, and you should unquestionably stop by pretty Snake Pond Beach if you're here. Lakes? Sure, Johns Pond is close at hand, and there are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Flashy Pond. James Pond is a tremendous lake in the neighborhood of Flashy Pond, and why not camp at Otis Trailer Village John's Pond Campgro while you're here at Flashy Pond. Resort

| | Camplands International is a brilliant local campground, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Quashnet Valley Country Club.
Flashy Pond gets much water; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here while June is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Sea Mist Resort is a splendid location to get some rest. During the summer at Flashy Pond highs are usually in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. | |

Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Flashy Pond tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Whitcomb Swamp near Flashy Pond has lots of attention-grabbing
things to see, and why not take a look at Wheelers Point also if you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Flashy Pond. After a long day outdoors Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging is a great place to spend a night or two, and if you want to hit the beach, South Cape Beach is around here.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |

I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |

Ellis Haven was my summer vacation every year from 1957 to 1967. I'm 58 years old now and my best memories are of Ellis Haven. Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds. It is very family oriented and extremely clean. The pond is fabulous for swimming and great for fishing too.... |
