Firestone Pond is always a pleasure to visit. For the period of the summertime highs here at Firestone Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Firestone Pond. Firestone Pond in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Not far from Firestone Pond you hit upon Battleship Cove, and Brayton Point Beach

Take a little tour to Quiquechan River while you're here at Firestone Pond, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Montaup Country Club. Firestone Pond regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Firestone Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Westport Camping Grounds is a wonderful spot for that, and here at Firestone
Pond you can catch a glimpse of Townsend Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Firestone Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Forge Pond Campground is a glorious local campground, and Borden Flats is also a brilliant place
to look at. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Somerset/Fall River Area is a splendid choice; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Pierce Beach.
This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Quality Inn Somerset, and Cook Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
