Finerty Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. What a place this is for outdoors people. Don't leave Finerty Pond without first going for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and a lake nearby is Basin       Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here, and there's always Finerty Pond Dam to go to near Finerty Pond. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Finerty Pond reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Finerty Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out close by Higley Brook since you're here                  at Finerty Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Finerty Pond has to offer, you can camp at Bissellville Campground. Stay the night at Bonny Rigg Camping Club; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Catamount; a wooded region nearby is October Mountain State Forest. Going for a hike on the Wild Cat Trail is always a good adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Finerty Pond. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Konkapot Brook, and an afternoon playing golf at Greenock Country Club is always a joy. Pilgrim Inn is a great location to get some rest, and one of the major traits of the surroundings of Finerty Pond is Bald Top.
