Fernwood Lake is a nice lake to visit. During the warm days of summer highs here at Fernwood Lake reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Fernwood Lake. After a long day outdoors Ocean View Inn and Resort is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and if you want to hit the beach, Halfmoon Beach is close at hand. Stay the night at Cape

If you're here, you might as well visit Field Rocks, and dry warm beds await you at Emerson Inn by the Sea. And if you're still looking
for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Fernwood Lake Dam; a round of golf at nearby Bass Rocks Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful.
Stage Head is a great location to visit while in the area, and Annisquam River is an interesting swamp close to Fernwood Lake.
Fernwood Lake is a rather wet place regularly with lots of rain; the month of November is the wettest
with most of the rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fernwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Henry's Resort Motel is a perfect place for that, and a spree to Cressy Beach is always a perfect idea.
