     Not far from Felton Lake, you'll locate Halfway Pond which is a striking lake, and Felton Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a good local campground. Going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; there's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Felton Lake,  
   you can go for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail; a day on the slopes of Bousquet is just what you need.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. A great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Lee. Lakes? Sure, Woods Pond is nearby. Through the months of summer at Felton Lake highs are usually in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are
 
               in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Felton Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Catamount and strap some skis to your feet, and Dewey Hill can be spotted from Felton Lake.
Felton Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month is February. People from Pittsfield love to come to Felton Lake; an exciting thing to explore in close proximity to Felton Lake is Leahy Upper Reservoir Dam. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Felton Lake is unbeatable! While you're here at Felton Lake you can take a hike along the Turner Trail; hey, Commons Brook is a brilliant local stream.
There are some good whitewater spots on Konkapot Brook, and a round of golf at nearby Greenock Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. If you need a location to stay Quality Inn Lee is a perfect choice. There's so much to do here at Felton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Glade Campground is a great site for that.
