staff, and Lorraine Park Campground is a good local campground. All through the warm days of summer here at Fells Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Fells Reservoir. Fells Reservoir generally gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly November,

from Fells Reservoir. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do next to Fells Reservoir. Beaches are fine; and Orient Heights Beach in the neighborhood of Fells Reservoir is no exception, and Stoneham Oaks Golf Course is a perfect golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.

Lake Cochichewick
 | 13 miles away Lake Cochichewick formerly known as Great Pond, is located near the inersections of rt 125 and Great Pond Road in North Andover MA. The lake is a little over 200 acres and long and narrow but widens quite a bit in the middle. The average depth near in the midde is about 40ft however the lake can reach depths of up to 60ft. The lake is a protected reservoir so fishing and boating are by town permit only. Swimming and gas moters are prohibited. Large and small mouth bass are in decent numbers as well as perch, pickerel, sunfish, also there is Northern Pike around but few have hooked up one in the summer season. Mercury level are fairly high so it is recomended to limit the consumption of fish to 1 meal a month. Most of the locals you will meet on the lake are all artificial bait, catch and release fisherman.... |
