Beaches are delightful; and Nelson Beach in the neighborhood of Federal Pond is no exception, and the scenery at Federal Pond Dam is gorgeous. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Federal Pond, you could also go to picturesque Hooper Pond. There's so much to do here at Federal Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Ellis Haven Family Campground is a perfect spot for that. One of the best things about       Federal Pond is its proximity to Stephens Field Beach, and a golf course close by is Southers Marsh Golf Club. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Federal Bogs is right close by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Federal Pond has to offer, you can camp at Shady Acres. Federal Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is June.                  At Federal Pond you can make out Federal Hill, and Comfort Inn Plymouth is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cohasset Tidal Rip. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Federal Pond. You'll come across a pretty lake called College Pond near Federal Pond, and after a long day outdoors John Carver Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Federal Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
