Fairhaven Hill is a peak you can spot from Farrar Pond, and after a long day outdoors Best Western At Historic Concord is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The friendly people of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out close by, and skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things       you just should do. Pine Hollow Camping is a brilliant campground here, and Fairhaven Bay is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. Charles River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Wayland Country Club is nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Northport Campground is a good location to camp, and Bridge Brook is in the neighborhood of Farrar Pond and is always                  a bliss to stop by. During the summer here at Farrar Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Farrar Pond drop into the 0's. A delightful swamp close to Farrar Pond is Bridge Brook Swamp; a magnificent nearby hotel is Colonial Inn. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Assabet River; what would a spot like Farrar Pond be without interesting close by features like Bound Rock.
