If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Farnham Reservoir. Farnham Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Farnham Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again. Whitewater paddling is great on Westfield River - West Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Fernwood Forest Campground is a nice place to camp. in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Farnham Reservoir. What would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet; if you need a place to stay Pittsfield Travelodge is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. In the event
that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Konkapot Brook, and the peak of Dewey Hill can be seen from Farnham Reservoir. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just
come on down to Farnham Reservoir. A round of golf at nearby Cranwell Resort & Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time, and the slopes of Catamount are so inviting nobody can resist.
Lakes? Sure, Ashley Reservoir is in the
vicinity, and going for a hike on the Turner Trail is always a perfect adventure. Don't leave Farnham Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail, and Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsfield, Massachusetts is a good place to get some rest.
