What a nice lake Farnham Reservoir is. There are other locations here than Farnham Reservoir, for example Ashley Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsfield, Massachusetts is a wonderful choice. Yeah, come here to Farnham Reservoir for a good time. Gotta ski! Catamount is a great place to do that. is a brilliant local campground. Enjoy a round of golf at Cranwell Resort & Golf Club not far from Farnham Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Mill Brook Reservoir is close at hand. The warmest time of the year at Farnham Reservoir arrives with
high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Farnham Reservoir sink
into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Konkapot Brook, and what would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet. On a good day at Farnham Reservoir you can take a hike along
the Wild Cat Trail, and Farnham Reservoir is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Fernwood Forest Campground is a good spot to camp nearby.

Walker Island Camping
 | 16 miles away The staff at Walker Island was very friendly. There were many faucets located near campsites, and an outhouse, and an outlet in some sites. Our sites were located by the brook which on the other side is a busy road that large trucks occasionally rumble by. The pool was 5ft deep, compared to the 'small beach' which is literally a pile of sand plopped by the brook. No swimming in this beach. The arrow pointing to the spring is really a spring hung on a tree. Not so funny when your vacation hopes were to swim in some natural waters. Hiking may be difficult to find ask for directions.... |
