This lake is so wonderful. Elginwood Pond Dam has glorious water scenery and it's next to Elginwood Pond, and Huckleberry Hill is clearly visible from Elginwood Pond. Do pop by Crystal Pond near Elginwood Pond, it's a lovely lake, and a golf course close by is Cedar Glen Golf Course. The skiing at Blue Hills is great,       and Lorraine Park Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Norris Brook is a picturesque stream that is worth taking a look at, and since you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Mill Pond. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do near Elginwood Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bradford is in the neighborhood of Elginwood Pond, and after a long day outdoors Homewood Suites Boston/Peabody is a glorious spot to                  spend a night or two. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a good site right next door to Elginwood Pond, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Lynn Beach. Elginwood Pond is a quite wet place regularly with a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is August. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. SpringHill Suites Boston Peabody is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Prospect Lake Park is a brilliant campground nearby. All through the months of summer highs here at Elginwood Pond reach the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
