This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Pond Meadow Lake Reservoir close to Eatons Pond; Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a nice place close by. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Blacks Creek close to Eatons Pond is always a glorious idea; a       wonderful swamp in close proximity to Eatons Pond is Arnold Meadow. A nice beach in the vicinity of Eatons Pond is Manet Beach, and Echo Lake is a good lake close by. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Charles River, and Norwell Campsites is a great local campground. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Eatons Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Prospect Lake Park is a good                  location to camp, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Blue Hills. After a long day outdoors Boston Marriott Quincy is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and why not head up to Bradford and strap some skis to your feet. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Eatons Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Eatons Pond temperatures sink to the 20's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. If you're here at Eatons Pond, you could go to Bents Creek, and the scenery at Sailors Snug Harbor is delightful. Eatons Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
