What a nice lake Dunns Pond is. All the outdoors amusing stuff near Dunns Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Hyannis Golf Club is a tremendous golf course close by. Lakes are great; Wequaquet Lake is a lake that's near Dunns Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Barnstable Town come to Dunns Pond, and camping is available at Bass River Trailer Park. Dunns Pond gets much water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July

A delightful place to camp here at Dunns Pond is Yarmouth Campgrounds, and some of the water close by flows, like Halls Creek. You have to have a look at Fuller Point when you're here at Dunns Pond, and Comfort Inn Hyannis is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. On a lovely day you obtain a panorama of Sunset Hill from Dunns Pond, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Keyes Memorial Beach.

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Upper Gate Pond, and Hyannis Port Beach is pretty nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. Swamps don’t sound that good but Craigville Marshes next to Dunns
Pond is reasonably good, and a perfect close by hotel is Cape Winds Resort (Vri). For the period of the warm months highs here at Dunns Pond reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the
wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dunns Pond are in the 10's.
If time allows, Cape Cod National Seashore is a national park worth checking out.
