Nothing beats kicking back at State Park Beach; some nearby water includes Hop Brook. And that's not all you can do here at Duck Pond. This is a popular spot for people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; paddling on Assabet River is so much fun. Duck Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a glorious local campground, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Bungay Brook Golf Club. | | to Lake Hiawatha Dam if you're here at Duck Pond, and whitewater paddling is good on Clear and Branch. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Duck Pond has it all. Walsh Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; going for a hike on the Munyan Trail is always a glorious adventure. Duck Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. | |

A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PROVIDENCE-WOONSOCKET, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Ross Trail. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Milford is a good site to spend a night
or two; do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor if you're here at Duck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Candlewood Hill is picturesque and can be distinguished from Duck Pond. There's so much to do here
at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Circle CG Farm Campground is a great place for that. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Duck Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Duck Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Fish Pond close to Duck Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and nearby you find the Walkabout Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
