There's some flowing water close by, Blackfish Creek is a stream you can go to while here, and the Buttonbush Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by a swamp like Blackfish Creek Marshes since you're here at Duck Pond, and Drummer Cove is not far at all. If the weather is splendid here at Duck Pond, you can go for a hike along the Great Island Trail; for you golfers we recommend       close by Chequessett Yacht & Country Club. White Crest Beach is a beach near Duck Pond that you can check out. Lakes? Sure, Great Pond is close at hand. A tremendous nearby hotel is Four Points By Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod, and going for a hike along the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. A spree to Cape Cod National Seashore                  is worthwhile, and why not camp at Maurice's Campground if you're here at Duck Pond. At Duck Pond you always meet someone from Barnstable Town, and a nice view of picturesque Cannon Hill is available. During the months of summer at Duck Pond highs are frequently in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Duck Pond. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do near Duck Pond. If you need a spot to stay Captains Quarters Motel is a good choice; Southeast Pond is a perfect lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach close to Duck Pond, we recommend Cahoon Hollow Beach, and if you came for an overnight stay Paine's Campground is a nice site to camp.
