Taking a little visit to nearby Brown Point is a tremendous idea; unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes, Old House Pond is a lake nearby. Swamps like James Pond Marshes are fun to visit, and Great Plains is a brilliant place here at Duarte Ponds. What would a place like Duarte Ponds be without out of the ordinary close by marks like Makonikey Head, and an afternoon playing golf at Mink Meadows Golf Club is always a delight.

| | Duarte Ponds is a rather wet place mostly with much precipitation; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Duarte Ponds. If you need a place to stay Thorncroft Inn is a fine choice, and if you want to hit the beach, Lake Tashmoo Town Beach is close at hand. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Duarte Ponds. | |

When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Duarte Ponds are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at 1720 House,
and you could always look at Middle Ground. You have to absolutely explore charming Lamberts Cove Beach while you're here at Duarte Ponds, and why not explore close by Blackwater Brook if you're here at Duarte Ponds. A trip to
Tashmoo Spring will fill your spirit with wonderful feelings, and if you came for an overnight stay Martha's Vineyard Family Campground is a good site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a
great view of Pilot Hill from Duarte Ponds, and you're probably keen on lakes, Flat Bottom Pond is one of those nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Coolfont Resort is a delightful campground nearby.
