Camping is available at Martha's Vineyard Family Campground, and a day at scenic Owen Park Beach in close proximity to Duarte Pond is a pleasant thing to do. For the duration of the summertime at Duarte Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. Looking for something near Duarte Pond? Little Pond is nearby; why not camp at Marthas Vineyard Campground since you're here at Duarte Pond.

to Tashmoo Spring, and High Haven House Bed And Breakfast Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Duarte Pond is not the only spot close by, Upper Lagoon Pond is a close by lake, and a trip to close by Brown Point is very relaxing.
Duarte Pond gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them.
