A magnificent nearby hotel is M V Surfside Motel; the trees of Martha's Vineyard State Forest are a magnificent source of shade on hot summer days. Dodger Hole gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |
