This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways. I'm just a local catch and release fisherman who has left home to make a difference at home and around the world. as for the natural gas emissions problems, I'm not so worried about that (though its still a worry) to me its more important to focus on my previous exerpt as that affects the later exponentially. Barton Cove Campground

It is a great place to take a family and if you are lucky, you will get to see the bald eagles (I actually got to see their first flight)....Lovely campground with huge, clean wooded tent sites. Some sites overlook the Connecticut River, and a few offer access to a swimming or fishing beach. There are some high cliffs on the river side of the campground, partly blocked with post and rail fencing. Small children may not respect the fences, so that should be considered when families with kids choose their site. Overall very enjoyable, and I look forward to returning soon.... |
