This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deep Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sweetwater Forest Camping Resort, and a day at Rock Harbor Beach is time well spent. Deep Pond is a wonderful spot to camp, Atlantic Oaks RV Park is a wonderful spot, and do take a hike on the Buttonbush Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a lovely lake called Areys Pond near Deep Pond, and Skaket       Beach Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. A swamp like The Narrows near Deep Pond has lots of exciting things to see, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fort Hill Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Olde Tavern Motel and Inn, and Deep Pond is right by the Red Maple Swamp Trail. Avalon Point is not far from Deep Pond at all, and if you have time, Cape Cod National Seashore is a national park worth checking out. During your tour to Deep                  Pond you'll meet some people from Barnstable Town for sure, and the summit of Indian Fort Hill can be observed from Deep Pond. All through the long summer days highs here at Deep Pond get into the 70's, and the night is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Deep Pond. Just can't get enough of Deep Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Deep Pond a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July.
