8 Motel is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. At J B Dunnell Dam near Deane Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see; you can run the rapids of Millers River - Lower. If only every site had this
much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. A visit to Greenfield Beach close to Deane Pond is always a great idea; going for a hike along the Sunrise Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
All through the warm months highs here at Deane Pond get into the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while Deane Pond overnight low temperatures during
the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Otter Brook is a nice local stream, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Living Memorial Park since you're here. Hiking along the Sunset Trail is glorious fun, and why not camp at Purple Meadow Campground since you're here at Deane Pond.
