    Beautiful Dean Pond has much to offer visitors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dean Pond; Thunderbolt Ski Trail is a splendid local trail, and Dunbar Brook is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Dean Pond is a good spot of common rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Raven Rocks is an interesting thing to distinguish since you're here at Dean Pond, and why not camp at Hidden  
   Valley Campgrounds since you're here at Dean Pond.
A brilliant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma, and you can run the rapids of Green River. At Dean Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Dean Pond are in the 10's. This place is so good, just explore all the fun things to do close
 
               to Dean Pond. A golf course in close proximity to Dean Pond is Forest Park Country Club, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a good panorama of Cheshire Harbor Hill from Dean Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place to camp here at Dean Pond is Clarksburg State Park, and while you're here, you might as well check out The Bellows Pipe. What would winter be without some skiing at Jiminy Peak, and why not take a little trip to Bassett Brook while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. Dean Pond is right by the Overlook Trail, and since you're here, you could also take a look at picturesque Bassett Reservoir. People from Pittsfield love to come to Dean Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Cheshire Harbor Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a wonderful site to spend a night or two; do check out Bassett Reservoir Dam since you're here.
So many cool things to do at Dean Pond, so little time. Gotta ski! Mount Greylock Ski Club is a splendid place to do that, and Renfrew Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out.

... stop building in the whitingham area, it is very quickly loosing its natural appearance (not to mention killing the fish and environment) we should stop building around the world, this is one contribution to global warming and obviously the fact that we will eventually outgrow our environment. I suggest rebuilding ontop of old houses if you have the money to build a new house at all otherwise, renovate.I also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other...
