Davis Pond is a nice lake to visit. During the days of summer at Davis Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Davis Pond fall into the 0's. There's so much to do here at Davis Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Acres Family Camping Resort is a good place for that; if you like skiing,

| | you're in luck; Wachusett Mountain is rather near. Playing golf is lots of fun at Quail Hollow Golf & Country Club, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Millers River. A day on the slopes of Pine Ridge is just what you need, and if the weather is pretty, you acquire a good vista of Prospect Hill from Davis Pond.
