If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Davis Pond. Davis Pond is a pretty wet place frequently with a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Some of the water close by flows, like East Branch Swift River. Lakes are great; Flask Pond is a lake that's next to Davis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay High View Campgrounds is a nice place to camp, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River. Throughout the summertime months at Davis Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. If you need a site to stay Antique 1880 Bed & Breakfast is a magnificent choice, and Pine Ridge is a fine local ski area. If you want a pleasant
time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Davis Pond. Here at Davis Pond you can make out Little Quabbin, and whitewater paddling is great on Millers River. Davis Pond is not far at all from Springfield, and why not camp at Lakeridge Campground if you're here at Davis Pond.
