The top of Goat Rocks is easily seen from Davis Pond. There's so much to do here at Davis Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Marthas Vineyard Campground is a delightful location for that. There are other sites here than Davis Pond, for example Looks Pond, and dry warm beds await you at High Haven House Bed And Breakfast Inn. in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Davis Pond.
Davis Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Brook flows through this area.
