This lake is so wonderful. The Middlesex Fells towers over Dark Hollow Pond; the skiing at Blue Hills is good. Summertime highs at Dark Hollow Pond usually tend to be in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Dark Hollow Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter       are in the 10's. There's always North Reservoir Dam to take a look at close to Dark Hollow Pond; Lorraine Park Campground is a splendid local campground. Dark Hollow Pond gets lots of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. A lake close by is Spot Pond; Bear Hill can be distinguished from Dark Hollow Pond.
