Head up to Wachusett Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and why not a little side spree to Chapin Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak, and if you're visiting from Worcester, you won't be the only one. The Munyan Trail offers hiking at its best, and you don’t have to go far from Dark Brook to catch a sight of the water at Dark Brook Reservoir Dam. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Worcester Auburn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Ross Trail. Brook if you go for the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Border Trail, and here at Dark Brook you can catch a glimpse of Crowl Hill. Camping at Wood Lot Campground is always a fine experience, and an afternoon playing
golf at Pakachoag Golf Course is always a delight. The snow is wonderful at Pine Ridge, and if you have time to spare, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth visiting. There's just
no way anyone can get bored here at Dark Brook. If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn Auburn is a good choice, and you'll come across a striking lake called Stoneville Reservoir. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dark Brook.
All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; overnight lows at Dark Brook during the winter mostly drop into the 0's.
