Danks Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The high level of rainfall makes Danks Pond a pretty wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The area where Danks Pond is, is dominated by the Mount Tom Range; everybody nearby loves skiing at Berkshire East. Neds Ditch, a swamp in the vicinity of Danks Pond, and close by you discover the Link Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Blandford is a splendid local ski area. There's so much to do here at Danks
Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rainbow Motel is a glorious spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. People from Springfield love to come to Danks Pond; Quality Inn Northampton is a great spot to get some rest. Don't
try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Danks Pond. From Danks Pond you get a great view of Deadtop; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River. The Spring Trail
is a tremendous hiking trail close to Danks Pond, and don’t forget to stop at Hockanum Meadows if you're here at Danks Pond. Take a side journey to Brickyard Brook; going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a splendid adventure.
All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Danks Pond reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Danks Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a gorgeous lake called Mill River Diversion Reservoir near Danks Pond, and Connecticut River is a great whitewater spot close by.
