A visit to Damon Pond is always a good idea. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Damon Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a great local campground, and a wonderful close by hotel is Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel. The panorama of Fort Hill from Damon Pond is beautiful, and the trees of Willard Brook State Forest are a brilliant source of shade on hot summer days. Why not camp at Pine Campgrounds since you're here at Damon Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wapack
Trail. Be careful coming to Damon Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. A day on the slopes of Crotched Mountain is just what you need. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Damon Pond while overnight lows are generally
in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Damon Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Stony Brook, and why not
head up to Wachusett Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Pearl Hill Brook; a round of golf at nearby Maplewood Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time.
