    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Damon Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Swift River offers some glorious whitewater, and hiking along the Richard Trail is wonderful fun. All through the warm months at Damon Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight  
   here at Damon Pond. Getting to Dresser Brook from Damon Pond is simple, and Damon Pond is right by the Spring Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Blandford, and a fine swamp in the vicinity of Damon Pond is Lilly Pond. This location is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Damon Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close
 
               by Highland Lakes, and a great location to camp here at Damon Pond is Peppermint Park Camping Resort. A great deal of rain falls at Damon Pond; during November this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Autumn Inn, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Link Trail. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Westfield River - North Branch, and Fisk Meadow is a pleasant location here at Damon Pond. Any time is a pleasant time at Damon Pond if you like the outdoors. Lots of people from Springfield come to Damon Pond.
If you need a location to stay The Hotel Northampton is a great choice, and Damon Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Berkshire Park Camping Area is a wonderful local campground. Berkshire East is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and you acquire a great panorama of Bagg Ledges from here.
