Damon Pond is a splendid place to camp, Peppermint Park Camping Resort is a splendid place, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Springfield. You absolutely ought to adore Damon Pond.
Get dripping wet paddling on Westfield River - North Branch, and a trip to Fisk Meadow rejuvenates
 
   the spirit. High temperatures at Damon Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Damon Pond all through the wintertime regularly fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Swift River is so much fun, and why not take a look at a swamp like Lilly Pond if you're here at Damon Pond.
 
               Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly abundant here at Damon Pond. Dry warm beds await you at North King Motel, and the peak of Bagg Ledges can be distinguished from Damon Pond. There are brilliant locations to discover along the Spring Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Dresser Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Berkshire Park Camping Area is a magnificent campground here; a day on the slopes of Blandford is just what you need.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Damon Pond a wet location; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Oxbow Resort Motel is a good site to spend a night or two; don't leave Damon Pond without first going for a hike along the Link Trail.
