    Do stop by Curtin Pond while you're in this part of Massachusetts. Any time is a delightful time at Curtin Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Curtin Pond is a great location to camp, Cold Spring Campground is a great location. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Farmington River - West Branch offers some tremendous whitewater; if you need a location to stay Becket Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Catamount is a very  
   popular ski area in the vicinity, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Turner Trail.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Fall River; Royal Pond Dam is pretty. At Curtin Pond you always meet someone from Pittsfield; swamps like Geisler Swamp are fun to explore. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Curtin Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through
 
               the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Curtin Pond tend to be in the 10's.
There are other sites here than Curtin Pond, for example Gilder Pond, and Camp Overflow is a splendid campground here. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Wild Cat Trail; you can hit the slopes at Ski Butternut around here. On a good day at Curtin Pond you can take a hike along the Elbow Trail; you obtain a good vista of Berkshire Hills from here.
Curtin Pond generally gets a large amount of rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This site is so good, just check out all the fun things to do close to Curtin Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Lee Hotel; the landscape is dominated by the Berkshire Hills.
