Crystal Lake Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Sunset Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and a lake close by is Searles Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Mitchels Falls, and
you don’t have to go far from Crystal Lake Reservoir to make out the water at Crystal Lake Dam. Crystal Lake Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is
the driest. At Crystal Lake Reservoir through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Crystal Lake Reservoir night low temperatures
throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
A visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is recommended, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Merrimack Valley is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
