It's always fun to stop by Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Millers River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Cunningham Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. The vista of beautiful Beaman Hill near Crystal Lake is glorious, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Gardner Municipal Golf Course. Any time is a great time at Crystal Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. There's some flowing water nearby, Baker Brook is a stream you can explore while you're here, and hiking along the Parker Trail is wonderful fun. Lake through the summer months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Crystal Lake all through the winter typically plunge into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Colonial Hotel, and Howe's Camping is a good campground nearby. Do go to Perley Brook Reservoir close to Crystal Lake, it's a delightful lake; whitewater paddling is magnificent
on Contoocook River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Crystal Lake. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the White Dot Trail, and people from Worcester love to come here.

Super 8 Motel is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Peaceful Pines is a delightful place to camp. Wachusett Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; do take a hike on the Harling Trail.
