Mount Greylock Ski Club is a great local ski area. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crooked Pond has to offer, you can camp at Shady Pines Campground. During the warmest time of the year here at Crooked Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the       dark hours in the wintertime at Crooked Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. This place, Crooked Pond, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. A wonderful location for whitewater paddling near Crooked Pond is Westfield River - North Branch, and there's great hiking along the Dunbar Brook Trail. From a rain point of view Crooked Pond is a reasonably common spot; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.                  This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Crooked Pond, you could also pop by delightful Hallockville Pond, and Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. At Crooked Pond you can see Bond Hill, and do pop by Plainfield Pond, it's a beautiful lake. But wait, there's more to do near Crooked Pond. Chickley River is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of Crooked Pond, and the Busby Trail offers hiking at its best.
