Briggs Pond is a fine lake next to Crane Pond, and Blackstone Gorge is another wonderful place to have a look at nearby. The vista of striking Daniels Hill near Crane Pond is magnificent, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Clear and Branch. The high level of rain makes Crane Pond a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Spend the day on the beach at State Park Beach while you're here at Crane Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crane Pond; Munyan Trail is a tremendous local trail. This lake is so wonderful. You simply ought to have a look at Coblin Rock while you're here at Crane Pond, and hey, Aldrich Brook is a fine local stream. Lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Reilly Pond close to Crane Pond; paddling on Assabet River is so much fun. Blackstone | |

River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a wonderful national park; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Smithfield. Very delightful water scenery is available at Blackstone Dam near Crane Pond, and Crane Pond is a splendid
location to visit for more than one day, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a splendid location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Country View Golf Club not far from Crane Pond, and don't leave Crane
Pond without first going for a hike along the Ross Trail. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's splendid hiking along the Walkabout Trail, and lots of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River come here.
You completely should like Crane Pond. Circle CG Farm Campground is a nice campground nearby; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PROVIDENCE-WOONSOCKET is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. For the duration
of the warm months highs here at Crane Pond get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Crane Pond.
