Crane Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A round of golf at nearby Southwick Country Club is a brilliant way to kill some time, and while you're here you can take a hike along the County Road Trail. Blandford has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and you can spend the day on the beach at Babbs Beach. Everybody loves Poverty Plains, and hey, Hundred Acre Brook is a fine local stream. | | on; Crane Pond has it all. Crane Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Sodom Mountain Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Crane Pond is not far at all from Springfield. If you need a location to stay Elm Motel is a good choice. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Westfield River; going for a hike along the Richard Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Not far from Crane Pond, you'll come across Congamond
Lakes which is a picturesque lake, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Link Trail. Crane Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with a large amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of
the rain, and the driest month is January. Summertime highs at Crane Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 30's, and
all through the dark hours in the winter at Crane Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Congamond Lakes North Pond is a lake that's near Crane Pond, and Stevens Paper Company Lower Dam is
not far at all from Crane Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Crane Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wilderness Experience Unlimtd is a glorious location for that, and you can see Bush Hill from Crane Pond.
