Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Crane Pond. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Crane Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Boston Harbor Islands National       Recreation Area is worthwhile, and camping at Powow Cove Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Near Crane Pond you come across a golf course called Rowley Country Club, and a good view of gorgeous Bear Hill is available. Crane Pond gets much water; the month with most of the rain is November while January is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn Amesbury is a great spot to spend a night or two.                  The snow is great at Bradford, and the great folks of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out close by. A tremendous nearby hotel is WHITTIER MOTEL; on a great day you can take a look at Ash Swamp, a swamp in the neighborhood of Crane Pond. A good location for whitewater paddling close to Crane Pond is Atlantic Ocean, and getting to Beaver Brook from Crane Pond is easy. Having a good time at Crane Pond is easy.
