A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Crane Lake; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. The Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Crane Lake; not far from Crane Lake you get some good water scenery at Shaker Mill Pond Dam. At Crane Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools       down to the 60's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Crane Lake. On a beautiful day you obtain a vista of Cone Hill from Crane Lake, and Crane Lake is a perfect place to camp, Fox Hill Camping Area is a perfect place. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Baldwin Brook if you're here at Crane Lake, and you're sure to encounter some fine people from Pittsfield here. If the weather is pleasant here at Crane Lake,                  you can go for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail, and there are other locations here than Crane Lake, for example Card Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Ski Butternut is one of those things you just ought to do; a good nearby hotel is A B&B In The Berkshires. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you need a location to stay Pleasant Valley Motel is a fine choice; you can run the rapids of Bash Bish Brook. Camping at Crane Lake is delightful fun, Woodland Hills Campground is a delightful local campground, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Bousquet. Going for a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Konkapot Brook.
