You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Cranberry Pond. You could also take a look at Rice Reservoir since you're here at Cranberry Pond; it's close by, and after a long day outdoors Sturbridge Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. The great folks of Worcester like to hang out close by, and camping is available at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park. Camping at Lakeside       Resort is always a great experience, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Quaboag River. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and an exciting thing to check out next to Cranberry Pond is Saw Mill Pond Dam. During the long summer days highs here at Cranberry Pond get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's                  to Cranberry Pond. The summit of Gay Hill can be made out from Cranberry Pond, and a delightful close by hotel is Quality Inn Sturbridge. This lake is so wonderful. Bay Path Golf Course is a golf course in the neighborhood of Cranberry Pond, and stop at nearby Great Swamp. Cranberry Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Getting to Dunn Brook from Cranberry Pond is uncomplicated, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes?
