Cohasset Tidal Rip is a tremendous whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Cranberry Pond; a visit to Wessagusset Beach is always a brilliant idea. Skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just should do, and Furnace Brook Golf Club is a perfect golf course close by. Smelt Brook Dam has nice water scenery and it's near Cranberry Pond. Whortleberry Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and after a long day outdoors Boston Marriott Quincy is a good spot to spend a night or two. magnificent little journey to Bents Creek. Be careful coming to Cranberry Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Really great skiing awaits you at Bradford, and if you want to hit the beach, Manet Beach is nearby. For
the duration of the days of summer at Cranberry Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cranberry Pond
are in the 20's. If time allows, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at; swamps like Weymouth Fore River Marshes are fun to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Prospect
