A visit to Cranberry Pond is always a good idea. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You can distinguish Doll Mountain from Cranberry Pond, and Cranberry Pond is not the only site nearby, Twin Pond is a nearby lake. North Branch Mount Lebanon Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Turner Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Jiminy Peak, and if you need a site to stay

| | Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield is a nice choice. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Cranberry Pond. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Cranberry Pond; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. right by the Taconic Skyline Trail; you can run the rapids of Konkapot Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Green River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Cranberry Pond, and hiking along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail
is magnificent fun. Cranberry Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Privacy Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and Bousquet is a wonderful local ski area. High temperatures at Cranberry Pond through
the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cranberry Pond dip into the 10's. Stay the night at Woodland Hills Campground, and folks from Pittsfield love to come here.

Alps Family Campground
 | 11 miles away this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |
