     Cranberry Pond is always a pleasure to visit. So much fun stuff to do here at Cranberry Pond, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail is always a good adventure, and Cranberry Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Privacy Campground is a wonderful local campground. A pleasant close by hotel is Colonial Motor Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the Turner Trail. All through the summer highs here at Cranberry Pond  
   reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Cranberry Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
There are perfect places to explore along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and do take a look at Shaker Reservoir, it's a charming lake. There are some good whitewater spots on Green River. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cranberry Pond is close to
 
               the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Cranberry Pond is not far at all from Pittsfield, and a quick spree to North Branch Mount Lebanon Brook is positively a pleasant idea. Valley Rest Motel is a great site to get some rest, and camping at Woodland Hills Campground is always a good experience. Jiminy Peak is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and if you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some great whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. Bousquet has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and the peak of Doll Mountain can be made out from Cranberry Pond.
