Why not take a refreshing hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail; Cranberry Pond is a spot with many visitors from Pittsfield. Take a hike on the Wild Cat Trail; perfect skiing awaits you at Catamount. Some of the water nearby flows, like Baldwin Brook. Lakes? Sure, Stockbridge Bowl is around here. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Cranberry       Pond. Not far from Cranberry Pond, you'll discover Queechy Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and you can stay the night at Fox Hill Camping Area. An average amount of precipitation falls at Cranberry Pond; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. For the period of the summertime months here at Cranberry Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are                  in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cranberry Pond drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Cranberry Pond you can spot Cone Hill, and Woodland Hills Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Bousquet, and the Taconic Skyline Trail offers hiking at its best.
