If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Cranberry Pond. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Cranberry Pond has it all. Good hiking is available along the Taconic Skyline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Crane Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and the skiing at Catamount is good. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Bash Bish Brook for all you adrenaline kick people, and Shaker Mill

| | Pond Dam is a charming spot. A lake nearby is Mud Ponds; Fox Hill Camping Area is a wonderful campground nearby. Visit Baldwin Brook if you're here at Cranberry Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Stockbridge Country Inn. Woodland Hills Campground is a nice local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Konkapot Brook. a perfect local trail, and Cranberry Pond is a place with many visitors from Pittsfield. The annual rain here at Cranberry Pond is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand
is the driest. During the days of summer highs here at Cranberry Pond get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the
10's to Cranberry Pond. The Wild Cat Trail offers hiking at its best, and from Cranberry Pond you obtain a great vista of Cone Hill. And that's not all you can do here at Cranberry Pond. After a long day outdoors A B&B in the Berkshires is a great spot to spend a night or two, and a day on the slopes of Bousquet is just what you need.
