The Busby Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Cox Pond; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Wauban Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Chickley River is so much fun, and Greenfield Super 8 Motel is a good       place to get some rest. Why not camp at Peppermint Park Camping Resort while you're here at Cox Pond, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Greenfield is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. Take a look at close by Cranberry Swamp. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do close to Cox Pond. Lakes? Sure, Nemasket River Reservoir is around here; playing golf                  is lots of fun at Edge Hill Golf Course. Cox Pond generally gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Forget Road Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and lovely scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Berkshire East. Get covered with water paddling on Pelham Brook; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Spring Trail. Going for a hike along the Dunbar Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Hawley State Forest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Cox Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
