The beauty of Cooley Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here at Cooley Lake, also Cooley Lake Dam is worth going to if you're here. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Hubbard River, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Babbs Beach. Cooley Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January

| | is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Elm Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and Wilderness Experience Unlimtd is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly into lakes, Granville Reservoir is one of those nearby; going for a hike along the County Road Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. you can take a hike along the Link Trail, and a golf course close by is Edgewood Golf Course. Fox Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and a perfect spot nearby is Sullivan Hollow. Cooley Lake really is
in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and Bad Luck Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Cooley Lake. Looking for something
close to Cooley Lake? Winchell Reservoir is around here, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Richard Trail. Why not camp at Prospect Mountain Campground while you're here at Cooley Lake; what would winter be without
some skiing at Ski Sundown. The slopes of Blandford are so inviting noone can resist, and after a long day outdoors Dutch Iris Inn, The is a great location to spend a night or two. For the period of the months of summer at Cooley
Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cooley Lake dip into the 0's.
