    Beautiful Cook Pond has much to offer visitors. Cook Pond in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Paddling on Millers River is so much fun, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Partridgeville Pond Dam. For the period of the warm months at Cook Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter  
   temperatures at Cook Pond plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Templewood Golf Course is a great golf course nearby, and the Red Cross Trail offers hiking at its best.
The sight of Burnshirt Hills from Cook Pond is wonderful, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cook Pond; White Dot Trail is a good local trail. near Cook Pond you'll discover a wooded vicinity called Hubbardston State Forest; East Templeton Pond is a fine lake nearby.
 
               There's brilliant hiking along the Harling Trail, and why not camp at Lamb City Campground since you're here at Cook Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pine Ridge, and dry warm beds await you at South Gardner Hotel. The peaks of the Burnshirt Hills dominate the scenery of this neighborhood, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Worcester.
Cook Pond ordinarily gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls throughout August; February is when it's the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the vicinity of Cook Pond has to offer. If you need a location to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice; camping is available at Peaceful Pines. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Wachusett Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; get covered with water paddling on Contoocook River.
