Why not stop by Cook Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Wachusett Mountain; there is a good hiking trail close by called the White Dot Trail. Camping at Lamb City Campground & Variety is always a magnificent experience; there's whitewater on Millers River for all you adrenaline people. Just can't get enough of Cook Pond. Going for a hike on the Red Cross Trail is always a perfect adventure; an out of the ordinary thing to visit in close proximity to Cook Pond is Partridgeville Pond Dam. You can run the rapids of Contoocook River close to Cook Pond, and folks from Worcester
love to come here. Hubbardston State Forest is a forest near Cook Pond that you can go to, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Perley Brook Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long
